The National Democratic Congress (NDC) General Secretary for the Subin Constituency has called on the youth wing of the party to stop the uncontrolled riotous bahaviour exhibited by some of its members.
This was in a telephone interview Focus FM’s Atta Kusi Monday on Community Watch.
Godwin Dela said these rampages were not healthy if growth was desired as a country.
The General Secretary called for patience in addressing problems. He indicated that the party still had some time to stay as the government of the day.
He advised party youth to also use the right channels to have their problems resolved.
Mr Dela has suggested that “as far as politics is concerned and as a party [NDC], leaders should communicate to members, giving them information that they need to know”.
He has cited Kumasi as an example where “the leadership keeps in touch with the youth. There are programmes that make sure the youth is well informed about what is happening. Hence such incidences not frequent in the Kumasi Region”.
