The Ashanti Regional Youth organizer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Mr. Anthony Kwaku Boahen has advised District Chief Executives (DCE’s) and government appointees of the party to give respect to the party foot soldiers.
Mr. Boahen said this in an interview with Focus fm’s Bright Habita after an orientation organized for freshers by the TEIN branch of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST).
Mr. Boahen, who is also an MBA student of KNUST, said these foot soldiers need recognition adding that without them the party will not be in power.
He, however, condemned the actions of these foot soldiers describing it as “unfortunate and disheartening” advising the youth to abide by the rules and regulations in the party and follow the laid down channel of communication and it is only through this they will succeed.
Mr. Boahen dismissed the notion that President Mills is controlled by the party foot soldiers saying he is a party member and it is incumbent on him to share in their views so that he doesn’t lose power.
