Focus news has seen some major improvements in 2010. I should say it has not been easy combining academic work with journalism and having oversight of the entire news department of a student dominated radio station like focus fm.But we have God to thank for his grace and mercies.

I realise people make promises they are unable to keep especially on 31 Decembers like this. I am however promising before you all that 2011 will see some more and conspicuous positive changes in our news bulletins in terms of content, presentation, technical proficiency among others.

If live outside Kumasi, you may want to listen to focus news live on and for those in Kumasi always leave your radio dial on 94.3MHz for the best in news in and outside the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology.

You may want to listen to the breakfast news at 6am, the midday news at 12noon or the major news bulletin at 6pm.

The focus of the news will not necessarily be “to be the first to broadcast a story”(though that is not to be ruled out),but rather bringing credible news to our cherished listeners; bringing you all sides of a story.

Make fate with us as we journey into a new journalistic era.

God bless you.
