The Ghana pharmaceutical Students’ Association (GPSA of KNUST) has over the years been reaching out t o communities around the university as a way of educating them on the effective use of medication.
This year, a float has been held on KNUST campus to mark the Association’s golden jubilee.
The float, which forms part of the 50th anniversary celebrations of the Pharmacy Society, covered the principal streets of the University to sensitize students on the effective use of medication.
Some of the students participating in the float wielded placards that read; ‘Use condoms always’, ‘Beware of Hepatitis B,’ Our health our concern’ among others.
Our reporter, Bright Habita spoke with the vice president of GPSA, Mr. Kofi Dughan who outlined other programmes for the celebrations.
