2ND KUMASI BIENNIAL SYMPOSIUM TO OPEN AT THE CENTER FOR CULTURAL AND AFRICAN STUDIES AT KNUST

cultural_african_studiesThe Center for Cultural and African Studies at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology will on Monday, 18th July, 2011 witness the opening ceremony of the 2nd Kumasi Biennial symposium dubbed “Community Arts in Focus”.

The ceremony is slated to commence from the 16th of July, 2011 through to the 6th of August 2011 at the KNUST Musuem.

Dignitories invited to grace the ceremony include the Vice Chancellor of KNUST, Prof. Williams Otoo Ellis, Director of the Cultural Center (Kumasi), Director of Ce Cast, Provost of the college of Art and Social Sciences and the Dean of the Faculty of Art.KNUST--Museum

The ceremony seeks to bring together participants from universities all over the world, students and community leaders.
