The Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology has signed a memorandum of understanding, (M.O.U) with Mountcrest University College adding to the fifteen other Institutions affiliated to KNUST.
The Vice Chancellor of KNUST, Prof. William Otoo Ellis who facilitated the process admonished Mountcrest University College to see this as an opportunity to emulate the core values of KNUST which has stood the test of time, making KNUST a force to reckon with.
He however, pledged his support on behalf of KNUST to Mountcrest University College to assist the University in all its endeavours till it becomes a full fledged University. According to him, KNUST will continue to assist its affiliated Institutions promote excellence in Education.
The Deputy Rector of Mountcrest University College, Dr. S.A. Akor who represented the University during the signing of the M.O.U said the University is ready to accept criticisms from KNUST in the line of carrying out their duties in order to become a reputable Institution. He also said Mountcrest University College would continue to accept mentorship from KNUST in order to increase the training of human resources for the country.
The Signing of the M.O.U took place on Thursday, 12 January 2012 at the Chambers of the KNUST Administration block.
