ABOUT

Focus FM (94.3 MHz) is a community radio located on campus of Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Kumasi. It was set up in the year 2000 A.D. The shareholders are the SRC (Students representative council), the University and Otec FM, whose stakeholder ship ends in September, 2010.

The core objectives for the establishment of the station was to inform, educate and entertain the entire university community and the surrounding communities. The source of funding is from students’ contribution into Focus Fm development account.

Focus FM (94.3MHz) is the official mouthpiece of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology. It is licensed to operate in Kumasi in a high traffic location thus ensuring maximum visibility and interactivity. Our transmission is from our 1-kilowatt transmitter and a 250-ft mast.
